Who runs Connectivity
Connectivity is an independent project run by one person, not a company group.
What's collected
You can read most of the site without an account. If you create one, Connectivity stores your name, email address and sign-in details, plus anything you save, such as favorites, trips and preferences.
To keep accounts secure, it also stores your active sessions, including the device, browser and IP address, which you can see under Devices in your account. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes.
Signing in with Google or Telegram
If you choose Google, Connectivity receives your name, email address and profile photo. If you choose Telegram, it receives your name, username and photo, and then asks you for an email address. Your phone number isn’t requested.
Cookies
Cookies keep you signed in and remember your sign-in choices. Your browser also stores settings like your theme. Connectivity doesn’t use advertising cookies.
Services that help run the site
Your data is held with the site’s database and hosting providers. Account emails are sent through an email provider. Video thumbnails load from YouTube, and a video only plays through YouTube after you press play, at which point YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
Your choices
You can change your details on your Profile page, sign out of devices under Devices, and delete your account from the Security page. Deleting it removes your profile and saved data.
